A new Fred Claus trailer has been released. Although it isn’t really anything that good, just Santa and Fred sitting around talking. Can’t wait till a new trailer comes out, I am actually liking the looks of this film. The trailer is available below or you can watch the theatrical trailer at Yahoo, which can be seen here

Someone’s Faking It
Well someone has been getting some mad traffic lately thanks to a lot of people picking up the sites for the mysterious Cloverfield trailer by JJ Abrams. The Ethan Haas sites that is, they are not even connected with the movie, damn bastards why didn’t I think of that? I could have gotten a few thousands readers through that.
The 1-18-08.com we showed does in fact belong to the people at Paramount, in fact a new picture was added to the website which seems to be the guy who the party was about in the trailer we posted. The website is also in all flashy now and you can move the pics
whheeeee!
Regarding the online stuff you posted: yeah, we’re doing some fun stuff on the web. But, obviously, if the movie doesn’t kick some massive ASS, who gives a rat’s about what’s online? So as you can imagine, we’re focusing mostly on THAT. For what it’s worth, the only site of ours that people have even FOUND is the 1-18-08.com site. The others (like the Ethan Haas sites) have nothing to do with us.
That is the quote taking from AICN which backups the statement about the sites. Some people are so inquisitive, just picking up that site is pure genius. I would never have typed in 1-18-08 and then added .com into my browser, just sounds stupid.
Till the next Cloverfield news item, I bid you fare well!
Good Version of Cloverfield Trailer
Finally Paramount have given in and posted a good version of Cloverfield online. There is a version below or you can view the trailer at the Apple.com website. Enjoy it as there is no more information at the moment about the movie.
Man that Statue of Liberty flying is fucking awesome

Jim Carrey in Christmas Carol
Yup the headline is right my young friends. Jim Carrey (Bruce Almight, Ace Ventura, The Mask) has agreed to play the part of Ebenezer Scrooge in the Charles Dickens childrens book adaptation, A Christmas Carol.
Carrey will also be playing the roles of the 3 ghosts that haunt Scrooge. So the 3 roles that are set up for Carrey in A Christmas Carol are as follow: Ebenezer Scrooge, Ghost of Christmas Past, Ghost of Christmas Present, Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. What else is there? Tiny Tim? Will he be playing that as well?
Robert Zemeckis (Ghostship, House of Wax, Matchstick Men) is going to be directing the script which he wrote. Aas well as writing the script, directing the movie Zemeckis will be producing it as well. Although not alone, he will have the help of Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey.
The movie is set to be shot in complete computer graphics much like the Polar Express was shot in for Tom Hanks. Only thing is, this is Jim Carrey we are talking about? He doesn’t need any CGI to make it look better, I guess we will find out when the film comes.
Carrey is chockerblocked with acting engagements. His current priority is Ripley’s Believe It or Not! which chronicles the story of Robert Ripley’s quest for the inhuman people in society. Paramount are really trying to fit Tim Burton in around the post-production of Sweeney Todd.
After that Carrey has the role of a gay prison escapee in the movie I Love You Phillip Morris. He has also signed on to take on the rold of a nursemaid of his sick wife and her family in Me Time. And last but certainly not least Sober Buddies
ComicCon Schedule Released
Well our friends over at ComingSoon.net have released a schedule of what is going on at your friendly ComicCon. Looks to be a jampacked 4 days with many a things going on. Personally I would love to go to a ComicCon would be great fun, so to mark the occasion I am gonna be posting some of the things I would go see if I was going
Alright, to start off the convention I would head down the the 1:30 – 3:30 Paramount Pictures little section and have a look at the soon to be released films from them. Supposedly they are getting a preview of Iron Man together which would be great to have a little peek at. Not much else that tickes my fancy for Thursday, only others things I would stay for and have a peek at would be the World Premiere! Superman Doomsday at 8:30 – 10:30 and the Spotlight on George Romero which is at 4:45 – 5:45.
Ok onto Friday, I would like to go to the Pixar Short Films Collection: Volume 1 which is at 10:30 – 11:30 on the Friday. Only reason would be to ask them how many months it takes to create those short films at the start of every Pixar film. I would also like to hit up the preview of Shoot ‘Em Up which is between 2:15 and 3:00.
Saturday appears to be the day for me. The Simpsons are going to have a preview of there film at the ComicCon which would be a blast (get to see barts dick! would be exhilarating) that starts at 10:45 and finishes dead on noon. Now me being a loyal heroes fan I would have to hit up the Heroes slot which starts at 12:45 and goes to 2. It includes a Q & A and also a preview clip on Volume II, that would be pretty intense.
Now to cap things off on the Sunday I would hit the Pathology bench which is at 12:45 – 1:45, purely because it is from the writers / producers of Crank and I wanna know about what is going on with Crank 2? How will it start? What will it be about? So much to know, so many questions
Well that would be a jampacked session right there. I really need to save up some money for the flight don’t I? Lazy bastard I am. Anyway, if you are heading down to the ComicCon and you wanna see the schedule, head on over here to have a read.
