Well I am a little tired (had a late one last night, Wayne’s World 1 & 2 night, excellent!!) so I am just going to do a wrap up of today’s new, sorry about that folks.
Christina Applegate is starring in “The Rocker” as a rocker mum. The rocker is a movie about a drummer (played by Rainn Wilson) who plays in a high school band which hits it big time. The only problem is he gets kicked out just before they hit big time. Fast forward 20 years and he has the chance once again with a high school band with the front man being his nephew. Christina Applegate is the love interest of Wilson and the mother of the lead guitarist.
China has trimmed down the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest for release on there screens. They have gotten rid of a lot of scenes because of violence and horror. Most of the scenes featuring Chow Yun Fat have been cut and really makes the movie harder to follow (as if it wasn’t hard already?), some scenes that really had no violence and horror have been cut as well like when Chow Yun Fat reads a poem by poet Li Bai, terrible on China’s behalf
William Hurt has joined the cast of The Incredible Hulk. He is going to play the man dedicated to capture Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) and the father of his love interest, Betty Ross. Currently the cast goes a little something like this, Edward Norton as Hulk / Bruce Banner, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, William Hurt as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross and Tim Roth as the evil villain. It is written by Zak Penn and looks like a pretty strong cast for a comic book movie.
