Hollywood studios are bunkering down as they are preparing for some strikes from the boys with pens because of contract expirations. Even more trouble next year when the actors and directors contracts expire. Kinda sad news, but I guess it is business.
“Based upon the public statements of the Writers Guild, it’s quite clear these are going to be very contentious negotiations,” he said. “Their statements are bellicose, so we’ve got to prepare for the worst.”
There defense against all this? Reality shows. Pure genius, unscripted shows with people willing to do anything. Pure and simple, they are gonna bulk up there schedules with a lot of reality TV shows and expect the worst. Well good luck old chaps
