Well this is an interesting twist to the George Lucas saga. Lucas is in the works to create an Indiana Jones 4, he created a Robot Chicken spoof on Star Wars and something else that I completely forgot about (damned mind blanks :() and now he is back to create a Star Wars, or is he?
And here’s a little news: Lucas tells me he will make two more live-action films based in the “Star Wars” era.
“But they won’t have members of the Skywalker family as characters,” he said. “They will be other people of that milieu.”
To me that sounds like it will be a Tolkien sorta scenario. The same sorta time period and same sorta things happening around them, just not with the same characters or storyline. I hope to god they put in some Star Wars references, like they are flying in space or something and suddenly the Death Star flies by.

It’ll definitely be interesting to see what he does. After watching the last trilogy, however, is it wrong for me to hope he gets someone else to write for him?
I think so, the trilogy is Lucas’ and giving it out to someone is like selling your soul to the devil. Lucas has a style about him that possibly getting the script written by someone else will be a risky move
