Earlier this week we reported on the buyout of the Terminator franchise by Halcyon. A good move, but the wrong move was when we found out that Arnie would not be starring in the next one. Although he does look a little worse for wear, he is Arnold Schwarzenegger we can’t just exclude him from the movie we all know him from. But this may not be the case, in a move publicised by Halcyon, Arnie might be directing the movie or another role, but is hopefully in some shape or form having some influence on it.
However, Schwarzenegger will still be personally involved in the next episode, and a further two installments after that, of the series. His representative Annabelle Gross tells Moviehole.net, “He’s signed on as executive producer for all three pictures, and we are in talks for further appearance licensing.”
Awesome to see, maybe he can help out the new Arnold (hard to live up for sure) with some voice inspiration and teach him how to properly say all his famous catch phrases? Who knows, all we know is that “He’ll Be Back” (man that was a cheesy ending)
