The people who made 300, Beerfest, Ant Bully amongst others have recently released on there website a film under development. That film is looking like a movie based around the legendary video game Diablo. That is right, Legendary Films are going to release a movie based upon the Diablo game franchise.
According to /Film they are also going to be releasing an adaption of World of Warcraft, which would get a lot of a fan base as Blizzard have really done an excellent job at building a Trekkie like following / cult towards WoW. Although both films do not sound like keepers as I didn’t really like Doom which was also a video game adaption.
The next item I am gonna address is the possibility of a Halo movie. Fox has licensed the right to market products on behalf of the computer giant Microsoft. 20th Century Fox will release an array of merchandise on behalf of Microsoft and take care of all that fuss until the fourth game in the Halo line is released.
I think after Fox sweetens the relationship with Microsoft they will put all they have into getting the merchandise sold and that will hopefully make Microsoft like Fox more and more, then the fourth game will be released and BAM Fox will want movie rights, I can see it right now, all in my head.
Think about it, it would be a corny movie but Halo just has that following, like WoW and Star Trek, which could make it rake it in at the BO, that is what gives these games the edge that legitimate film makers face every day. They already have the fan base that if they were to launch into a line of goods or a movie, they would already be guaranteed a smidgen of success.
A new Transformers poster has been posted online and it looks half decent, only thing stopping me from saying it is awesome is that fucking photoshop flare that is sitting in the middle arrgghh!! And also a new TV spot has hit the web. I am really anticipating Transformers now and the hype is only throwing wood on the fire, stupid Internet hype!
About a week ago we posted a list of movies that Pixar are going to release in the next 4 or so years. One that was pretty high up on the list, in fact said to be released next year, was WALL-E. Now I know I said it sounded like a pretty shit movie, but after watching the teaser trailer, I am more than impressed. Definitely one to look out for in the near future, June 27th, 2008 to be precise.

It seems /Film have been really drumming up the release of Ratatouille more than usual, I wonder what is going on there, possible a little sweetner from Disney Pixar? Who knows…
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer took the top spot at the BO with an estimated sweep of $22.2 million. The next in line was Ocean’s Thirteen with a taking of $6.6 million and that takes it to $56.9 million overall. The third place getter was Kocked Up. According to a few reviews FF is the shittest movie to date in the comic book to movie line, but I guess it will still have crowds wondering what it is like and kids begging there parents to see it.
Oh my lord, Star Trek are gonna be launching another movie. For fucks sake can’t they just let it die? I so wanna be at Comic-Con when this is announced, the Trekkie’s would go fucking nuts! IESB says it will be released December 28th, 2008. Seems like it will still get a crapload at the BO due to the crazy fan base it has
Oh man, the first time I saw Team American: World Police I was blown off my feet and laughing my ass off all the way home. Just the way that the puppets would fight and try to be real humans was the funniest shit I have ever seen. I was a fan of Thunderbird’s before but they never moved so ridiculously as Team America.
Well it seems that whilst Trey Parker and Matt Stone where giving there praise to the old Thunderbird’s in Team America, it somehow brought back the puppet genre. A new movie is coming out called Agent Crush which is going to be taking the piss out of James Bond is going to be entirely done by puppets.
These puppets aren’t the ones with strings but the mechanical ones (I think that kind of takes away the fun as the limited movements by string puppets really made it funny) and already has a pretty sweet cast lined up. The star of the show, Agent Crush (played by Ioan Gruffudd), had a little chat to SciFi wire and had this to say
It’s the old animation of using puppets, but they’re not on strings anymore,” Gruffudd said in an interview while promoting Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in London. “They’re mechanical puppets. Sean Robinson and producer Barrie Robinson have done an amazing job with the movie, and I’m very proud to represent this sort of goofy 007-esque type character. … It’s sort of like the Supermarionation they had in Thunderbird’s, but the technology has certainly evolved.
Other people who will be starring in Agent Crush are Neve Campbell, Brian Cox, Alice Evans, and Roger Moore who surprisingly starred in 7 Bond films so should be a good little addition to the cast to make it even more Bond like. which is probably never gonna happen. The definition (courtesy of the UrbanDictionary) of a slut is a woman who sleeps with multiple persons and is usually female. So if Jessica Alba just sleeps around with a lot of men and a slut does the same thing, is she or is she not a slut? I am confused Alba really confused.
Alba needs to get hitched already, but according to some sources online, celebrity / hollywood marriages to seem to last an average of a year now to me that could also be sleeping around with lots of men. She is 26 years old, so that means she could sleep with 14 men before she hits 40, that ain’t a bad run 
and will most likely decrease the chance of her getting called a slut.
Just brainstorming for Alba, a list of men to look at first Jessy (can I call you that?) would be this list of single music guys who could play you some songs before you go to sleep and are also away on the road for a lot of the time so when they aren’t there, you can get busy with a male prostitute, enjoy our brainstorm session
I am gonna admit, I am one of those Heroes fanboys, the minute I saw Heroes ads on TV, I was hooked. I would watch it religiously and even re watched the whole season 1 the other day, I am addicted. Which is why when news of new characters for this stellar season was released I had to show my appreciation.
Well according to numerous sources Heroes will be starting shooting next week on the second season of the Heroic series (yeah I came up with that all by myself) and are set to have a few new characters in it. I am not sure where it will be set but I am hoping it is in normal time and not in the future, didn’t like those episodes (they answered to many questions)
The characters that are all set to make there debut in this new season are a nice elementary school teacher, a high school teacher with a hippie sort of personality, a store manager for Kino, a small time mobster of Irish decent and a Californian high school girl who isn’t really good athletically (sounds a little to like Claire for me)
Here is my shot at there powers. The nice elementary school teacher is hard to judge but possibly some sort of ability to make people happy around her (man that stab sounds lame but I am gonna stick by it :P), the high school chemistry teacher with a hippie personality probably is able to blow shit up sorta like that radiation man but better and he is probably a class A pot smoker.
The small time mobster probably has super accuracy, the ability to aim a gun, a dart etc. and hit is target spot on, would be good to get out of those sticky situations where he is up to his eyes in an extortion attempt. Well the Californian high school girl would probably have some sort of mental ability like that lady in the diner in Texas that got killed by Sylar, as she isn’t really all that good athletically.
